Why the money works
A team truck keeps moving while one driver sleeps, so the same tractor covers roughly double the ground. That is the whole economics of teaming, and it only holds up if the carrier actually has team freight to put under you. A team sitting on a solo freight board earns team inconvenience and solo money.
We run 6,000 to 7,000 team miles weekly on dry van, and the rate is per driver rather than a split. Each of you settles separately.
Established teams stay together
If you already drive with someone, you keep driving with them, on the same truck and the same home time. Husband and wife teams are welcome. Partnerships that already work are worth more than any pairing we could arrange.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A for both drivers
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience each
- Clean MVR preferred
- Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Established teams and husband & wife teams welcome
Before you commit
Be honest with yourself about sleeping in a moving truck. Some drivers never adapt to it, and a team where one person cannot rest properly turns into a safety problem quickly. If you have teamed before, you already know the answer.

Is the pay per driver or split between the team?
The 82 to 90 CPM rate is per driver, not split. Each driver settles separately and each gets their own weekly direct deposit.
Can my spouse and I drive together?
Yes. Husband and wife teams are welcome and we keep established teams together on the same truck and the same home time schedule.
Do you have enough team freight?
Yes, and it is the right question to ask any carrier. Team pay only works when the miles are actually there. Our teams run 6,000 to 7,000 miles a week.
What if I do not already have a partner?
Talk to a recruiter. We can discuss options, but established teams generally have an easier time because you already know you can live and work in the same cab.
How much experience does each driver need?
Both drivers need two years of verifiable OTR experience.
Trucks are sitting. Drivers are not.
